I absolutely loved this book. It truly made me feel that I am not alone and there is a whole community who understands the pain I am going through. 10/10 recommended

It's perfect to read in where ever a loss mom is on her journey. I am a loss mom 7 months after losing my baby. I felt the pain and joy in knowing I'm not alone.

I recommend this book. Grief is hard and You are not alone. It is nice to read these womens stories and even feel seen yourself.

For a lot of women, i can see how this book would help them. And i think it depends on what stage you are at, and how you grieve. For me, 2 weeks after losing my son, i grew tired of reading 'im so sorry'. Im sick of hearing it in real life, and after 2 or 3 letters i got sick of reading it. I was hoping for personal stories, of what happened to their baby and how they coped. Instead i found it quite repetitive reading how sorry everyone was, and telling me i wasn't alone, etc.Maybe its too soon after losing ny son, maybe I'll dip in again. For now, I've read half, and flicked through the rest.

Je recommande ce livre à toutes les mamans en deuil. Des mots justes, touchants et plein d'amour qui aident à avancer sur le chemin du deuil.

What a perfectly thought out book. I recently lost my baby at 35 weeks and life has been very painful. I started reading this around 3 weeks after losing my angel and I can’t tell you how lovely it is to open this book up and feel all the love from so many different women who are also in this not so great club. I have been recommending this book to my loss therapist and regular therapist for any other bereaved mothers. All the stories are different and not everyone will apply to your individual experience BUT the fact is we ALL suffered an immeasurable loss and at least every letter ( even if just one sentence) will still touch you in ways you didn’t know you needed. My love to the author who thought to put this beautiful and loving book together.

This book is filled with missives of love and compassion from one bereaved mama to another. It has helped me feel there is a community of mothers out there who understand the pain and loss. Letters do focus on loss of one child and only includes one letter of loss of twins if this factors into your search for a book. It is a beautifully, gently, and lovingly compilation of correspondences, as if they were all written for you, to you. I highly recommend this for the grieving heart. Hope you enjoy as I have.

Having just lost my son in February, this book is exactly what I needed. I've been struggling with so many questions and the unforgiving guilt that so many of these women have also faced themselves. Its a horrible feeling to be forced to continue on with your life when your child was denied theirs. These letters promise hope. Hope that one day life may not seem so hard. It will NEVER be normal again or hurt any less but you learn to live, laugh and love for the child you're missing. Thank you to all of the wonderful women who wrote in this book! May God bless us all and comfort us when we need it most.
