My 8 year old son and I have been using this journal for the past week and it’s been great! He especially loves that most of the rules are for me! It’s our special thing together. The authors struck a nice balance between fun, vulnerability, and opening the door for deeper conversations about manhood through the mother son bond. This is a very special book. Thank you for writing it!

Not sure this was worth the purchase Lots of “free space” pages throughout the journal, as in just about every other or every third page I do like the way they phrase things to appeal to young boys such as making a promise to one another like “blood brothers”, but this was not much intriguing than a composition notebook with a handful of prompts. Not super impressed if I’m being honest.

I highly recommended this journal. It was the best thing I've ever bought off . My 9yr old son usually hates journaling but he has been using it daily. He's really enjoyed the fact that we share it. We even have a code for once each other are done writing so we know when to check it. Definitely a must buy

I bought this to gift my son before we have our third child. I wanted something that we could share just the two of us and make him feel important and heard. The prompts are the sweetest and it is illustrated perfectly for the age and keeping whimsy. I cannot wait to fill this book up and have it to look on for forever.

I have this for mothers and daughters, and my son asked for one for his birthday. We just started using it, and already we are enjoying getting to know about each other. It is so easy to use and has great prompts as well as free writing pages.

Don’t question it. Just get it and make it a way to connect with your son. You won’t regret it!

Great book. I looked at a few and decided on this one based one reviews. Definitely the right choice. Loads to do and great for bonding with your child, especially if they have difficulties (ADHD/autism). Helps to know where they're at and how they're feeling. I thought I'd include a few pics to help people get an idea of what's inside
