I like the overall layout of the text, myraid diagrames.Hawever I would love the professor of the anatomy class would have considered and displayed some planar, sculptural approach in explaining the organic forms of human body rather than medical or contour shapes of the

I rarely write reviews, but I felt compelled to do so with the purchase of this anatomy book. I confess that I have been postponing learning anatomy because I have a full time job, and I am jealous of investing my free time away from doing pencil mileage. But, I am also well aware that without knowing anatomy, my drawings fall flat. After all, anatomy is a fundamental subject for acquiring the skill and ability to properly draw the human figure. As the saying goes, when you are ready to learn, the master appears. Luckily for me, it was Professor Rey Bustos and this amazing book. Professor Bustos’ book is a must, and I am very pleased to have this reference book in my art library. Professor Bustos’ book not only has helped me draw better, but also has awaken an unexpected passion for anatomy. I see what I learn from this book, effortlessly appear in my drawings which motivates me to dig into this book. I whole heartedly recommend this book to any artist because I am just really grateful that I crossed paths with such a fantastic, inspiring teacher. Thank you Professor Bustos for being so generous in sharing your art and knowledge of anatomy.

After years of struggling with anatomy while working as a 2D animator I recently began sculpting and discovered Reys anatomy courses on New Master Academy and then purchased this book. I really cannot praise this book enough, I now have a total love of anatomy and its starting to show in my work. The way this book is set out and the muscle groups explained just makes it all click in my headI cannot thank you enough for my new found obsession!
