  Harmony Humbolt is a delightful character and so relatable to kids of all ages! Adorable Harmony loves her perfect pet collection. When she brings them to school, she creates rule after rule to keep them safe because they "mean everything" to her. But when her rules such as only three friends at a time, and no sticky fingers, annoy her friends, Harmony has to decide how to enjoy both her perfect pet collection and her friends. The brilliant illustrations complement the text and show lively home, school, and playground scenes. And themes of sharing, friendship, and letting go of strict rules make this a "perfect" story for home, school, and libraries.

  When Harmony gets to share her perfect stuffed animal pets with her friends at recess, it doesn't go quite as she expects. Her friends want to squeeze, swing with, and actually PLAY with her pets. But this makes overprotective Harmony's stomach flutter. After all, her pets aren't meant to fly or be squeezed so hard they can't breathe, and they are definitely not supposed to have sticky fingers all over them! So Harmony makes rules. A few rules are fine, but when the number of rules outweighs the amount of fun, Harmony knows she has to do something.
  
  The snappy writing and adorable art make this a book that children will want to read over and over. Grodizicki is skilled at sharing a "lesson" without it feeling like a lesson. This book is filled with heart and humor; a wonderful combination. As much as children will love this book, adults will also get a reminder of what's important in life. I highly recommend this book

  I'm a big fan of all of Jenna Grodzicki's books, and this one is a super sweet story for stuffed animal lovers and rule followers alike!
