    To understand this one at all you have to at least buy the previous episode as the story continues where that left off and forms a complete story within the ever folding saga of XIII. The funny thing is, I've no idea where it is going to go next and which of the old characters might end up returning, thats one of the fun elements of the series though, you don't know what is going to happen next

    Finally, the whole XIII series is being publishing in English (and in the US). Cinebooks has taken on the task of printing this series, with a new volume every 3 4 months. And they are coming to the US a little later after being published in the UK. At this time, 10 volumes are out.This volume finishes the storyline from v9.His friends (Jones, Sgt Barnowsky and the Marquis), teamed up with the revolutionaries, are able to break out XIII from the prison, who goes after Maria who is grabbed by a bad guy.This all leads to the revolutionaries taking over, but suddenly XIII and friends are persona non grata with the new leadership. Which is strange if XIII is El Cascador and all. XIII agrees to sign a statement as El Cascador (or his real name of 'Kelly Brian'), and they leave, tho XIII stays behind to figure things out. Maria thinks he is her lost husband, El Cascador. A trial is held.Its revealed who the shadowy group who was behind XIII's involvement, and what happened to El Cascador. He was NOT killed, someone else was (but this makes you wonder why he left?). And the real traitor to the revolution is revealed.Then a new revelation when XIII meets Jason McLane's REAL father: Sean Mullway. McLane wasn't really his father, but someone who was taking care of him. This will be revealed in the next volume. Can't wait.
