  So in this episode of XIII we have 2 stories running through the book one about the history of XIII's family, lots of juicy detail that we have been waiting to hear for ages bringing the story very much together. and XIII's current dilemma involving a coup in the south American country in which XIII finds himself. I really enjoyed this book as it piece together lots of threads from the XIII series and also created a whole load than now need to be resolved. Can't wait for the next instalment.

  Once again Cinebook's translation has retained all of the original language subtilities, conveying the true nature of the original author's plot. An up to date and topical scheme, drawings so accurate that even today's fighter pilot would feel they were thereas always so important, all details of the drawings are brilliant, takes you breath away.Makes one wisg to be up there with them!!!!. Enjoy, the story is a very good distraction.

  Finally, the whole XIII series is being publishing in English (and in the US). Cinebooks has taken on the task of printing this series, with a new volume every 3 4 months. And they are coming to the US a little later after being published in the UK. At this time, 11 volumes are out.This volume continues the storyline from v10.The bulk of the volume it taken up by Sean Mullway, revealed in the last volume as Jason McLane's real father, telling his family story: of 3 Irish lads who come to American in 1900, marry 3 sisters and held build up their father in law's stores. Also, they run afoul of the Mafia. We learn a little about why El Cascador/XIII wasn't killed (but not quite the full story), and learn something that will be used in the plot of a future album.We also get the next step in the revolution, as the dictator's forces try to make a counterstrike. XII, still known as El Cascador, is pulled into this again.After its all wrapped up, the American ambassador asked XIII to return to the US to deal with General Carrington!! So we'll have to see how this works out in the next album.
