I bought this book as a gift for my boyfriend who studies digital art. When it arrived I was pleasantly surprised at how big and sturdy the book is, and the quality of the paper, makes it stand out as a great quality gift.As for the content I admit I am clueless, but my boyfriend tells me it is a good book and useful to him, and he is very happy with it.

There isn’t many books around like this, I’m very pleased with my purchase. This isn’t the kind of book you could read cover to cover but is a very useful resource for colour and light.Spine of the book has taken a knock through delivery but the contents are good so I can live with it 😅

Vermutlich das beste Buch dieses Verlags! Bin begeistert über die umfangreiche Theorie zu Values, Hues & Chroma (nicht mit Sättigung zu verwechseln) und später mehr zur praktischen künstlerischen Physik des Lichtes. Eine tolle Ergänzung zu den einschlägigen Standardwerken für Zeichner und Maler, da es sich nicht um eine faule Wiederholung altbekannter Inhalte handelt. Da waren wirklich Leute mit Ahnung am Werk!Kann man auch digitalen Künstlern schenken.Das Buch ist abwechslungsreich gestaltet und beginnt in der ersten Hälfte mit dichter, aber gut illustrierter Theorie und ist keineswegs langweilig. In der zweiten Hälfte geht es dann auch an Studien tatsächlicher Arbeiten, die mehr in kommentiertender Tutorialform beschrieben sind.

This book has color & light tips from a variety of artists, including Charlie Pickard, Djamila Knopfn Guwez and Nathan Fowkes. Look at the photo I uploaded and you'll see this book is large (I have big hands).If the cost has you hesitating, you have to consider that all of the ink for 384 pages would cost quite a bit. It's great quality too. This is my favorite 3Dtotal publishing book so far.

Se podria de ser que es una mejora directa al libro de color and light de James Gurney solo que con un enfoque mas digital es su contenido. Tambien Incluye 3 tutoriales por parte de Djamila Knopf, Guweyz y Nathan Fowkes.
