My comments pertain to the physical book itself, not to the content.
    1) Book is soft covered not hard covered as described.
    2) Book arrived sealed in plastic wrap. It SMELLS; possibly it’s the ink? Printed in Latvia.
    3) The binding on this 763 page, rather heavy book is not going to last very long.

Honestly NYT this is really really lazy. Taking a bunch of articles and republishing them in alphabetical order has to be the laziest most pathetic way to deliver this otherwise decent content. No maps or helpful cross references. It's just a jumble of info that would be better accessed online.

Purchased as a birthday gift for a friend and it did not disappoint. the books are perfect for decorating but also incredibly functional. I plan on getting a few for myself.

I gave this to my daughter for Christmas this year, 2020, and she loves it! With the current pandemic, travel is in the dream and plan stages, so this book whets her appetite and gives her hope for future adventure.

I bought this book for a friend who travels a lot for leisure every chance she gets. Due to COVID she like everyone else was not able to be very mobile. I gifted this to her along with a notebook to plan all her future travels while hoping for a normal where she can see new places again. She loved the present. I love this series by the New York Times and cannot recommend it enough!
