    This book had everything going for it, except itself!

    Pros :

    illustrations
    "Originality" in journal entry style
    Zones explored
    Pages have a "WoW" like parchment feel

    Cons :

    Way too short (111 pages)
    Little color in art work
    Lack of pages = lack of content
    1 page per zone should be 4 or 5 , MIN.

    Suggestions of improvement:

    Remake an expanded version with 350 500 pages. Throw in color in the art work.
    Each zone has at least 4 to 5 pages of journal entry.

    Judging on the content of Tier 1 epic regalia of all classes scattered in the book, I suppose there will be at least 2 versions of this book , for tier 2 and 3 gear from BWL and NAXX.

    So if I were blizzard and Christie, they should do those versions better, and if smart , remake this one or at last an expanded version.

    Pre ordered Exploring Azeroth: The Eastern Kingdoms in July 2020. Book was delivered in November and I enjoyed the book. It is aesthetically pleasing next to the other WoW books on the shelf. Fast forward to Feb 2021 Extremely disappointed to find out that Blizzard is now selling the same book but with a signed Certificate of Authenticity. I feel that should have been something for pre orders and not a selling point to jack up the price 3x

    It's obvious this book's intent is not supposed some sort of encyclopedic reference book, it's a stylized romp through Eastern Kingdoms from a character's point of view. With that in mind, the book does a great job informing of some lore for these areas and entertaining editorial comments from a pirate. Christie Golden did a great job with this.

    While I have enjoyed reading through this book, I have to admit to being disappointed in the amount of content here. I found the Warcraft "Chronicle" books to be brimming with lore, at times to the point of being a little overwhelming. This book is on the opposite end of the spectrum the content is nice, but it is very light. The book is brimming with illustrations, but very few are color and most are in a fairly minimalist style.

    As a WoW player and lover of Azeroth lore, this book is incredible! Filled with all sorts of information by SI:7 Spymaster Mathias Shaw and funny notes and inserts from Battle for Azeroth's own Captain Flynn Fairwind.
    The book was made to give the feel of a journal which adds a great touch!

    Personally, I had a really fun time reading this book. It's set up like a journal and is some basic lore information with silly little comments from the characters. It's not for everyone, but if you like short and silly and Warcraft lore, it's a good quick read!
    It came in wonderful quality; packaged and safe. The cover is beautiful, which is what caught my eye originally. Overall a great book, in my opinion.
