German photographer Reinhart Wolf (1930–1988) had a particular eye for architecture.     Genial y exclusivo libro de Reinhart Wolf, para amantes de la fotografía, apasionados de la arquitectura o admiradores de la ciudad de Nueva York, en una edición muy bonita, con una estructura tremendamente simple a gran formato y llena de curiosidades…El libro es una reedición del original del año 1980, rescatando una obra bien estructurada y objetivada, en formato grande, de 30 x 42, texto integralmente en francés, con 80 páginas de gramaje alto y acabado satinado de alta calidad. Se compone de varias partes bien diferenciadas: _ Un sincero prefacio sobre “la villa” del aclamado dramaturgo Edward Albee. _ El grueso del libro son grandes fotografías con gran definición, intercaladas a página completa y a doble página, con imágenes detalladas de magníficos adornos arquitectónicos, vistas nocturnas y diurnas del mismo encuadre y una gran cantidad de panoramas de la parte superior de todas las construcciones emblemáticas._ Salpicadas entre las fotos, en una tipografía también de gran formato, encontramos varias citas sobre New York de Truman Capote, Le Corbusier, Jean Paul Sartre entre otros, con un texto conductor por parte de Sabina Lietzman._ Después del paseo por las fotos, encontramos una entrevista realizada por Andy Warhol al creador de las fotografías, hablando del encantamiento que ejerce esa ciudad y los avatares de ambos protagonistas…_ Ya para finalizar tenemos una recopilación de las fotos, acompañadas de una pequeña ficha con la arquitectónica y urbanística sobre cada edificio.Un libro para disfrutar del tiempo sin medida y sin objetivo, simplemente por el placer de disfrutar de unas fotografías realizadas con un gran sentido artístico, grandiosidad teatral, luminosidad arquitectónica y pasión poética… Hiper recomendado…¡Saludos!

    Das größte Buch in den allermeisten Haushalten.Die Bilder sind aussergewöhnlich. Man sieht interessante Formen, viele Details, Spiel von LIcht und Schatten und beeindruckende Architektur und Baukunst. Außerdem ist das Buch sehr schön gebunden.

    Sehr schöne und eindrucksstarke Bilder vor allem von den als Stadtkronen dienenden Turmbauten New Yorks. Dargestellt sind vor allem die Klassiker unter den Wolkenkratzern.
