My child has enjoyed the I survived series and these books have been a huge hit. They are realistic telling a of battles but easy enough for a fourth grader to follow along.

10 year old boy likes the 3 books he's read in this series. This book has the "Goldilocks" not too much, not too little sweat spot for readers this age. The author did a good job on the subject with keeping the audience in mind.
