I know a lot about WWll in the pacific, but this gave me a new insite into some of the facts I never knew about, such as the role of the Indian fighters, and the two competitng Chinese leaders, each vying for the allegience of the military.

This book is perfect! It depicts battles, gives personal stories, and focuses on detailed artwork and writing skill to piece this book together. The outcome is an amazing book!

Wrong uniform and weapons depicted on Bataan, B 25J instead of early model B 25 in Dolittle Raid and M16 in grave marker on back cover of the book turned me off so much I couldn’t finish the book. The only redeeming factor was good artwork. What a waste!
